Based in Leamington Spa, Jonathon is the Club Golf Professional at Newbold Comyn Golf Club and is committed to providing the best Golf tuition using the latest visual and kinesthetic techniques to give you a greater understanding of your game and take it to the next level.
Jonathon is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Professional.
Growing up in the small farming town of Waimate in New Zealand's South Island, sport played a big part in his life, particularly cricket, and after a charity Golf day for his local cricket club, Jonathon was hooked on golf.
Legendary local coach Dave Bell then took him under his tutelage and together they spent hours studying the game and the mechanics of the swing. It was these formative years that ignited Jonathon's passion for the game especially instruction. Dave was a true mentor whom Jonathon credits with teaching him not only the foundations of golf but life lessons that he has carried with him playing and coaching for over 20 years.
Jonathon has worked alongside many top players, and has been privileged to study the game under the tutelage of top instructors in New Zealand, Australia and America.
